As you may know, the U.S. military and other countries have begun cruise missile and airstrikes in Libya in order to protect civilians from attacks by Qaddafi’s forces. Do you approve or disapprove of the U.S. and other countries taking this military action in Libya?

How effective do you think the cruise missile and airstrikes by the U.S. and other countries will be in protecting civilians from Qaddafi's forces - very effective, somewhat effective, not very effective or not effective at all?

Survey of 1,022 adults was conducted March 20-21, 2011. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points.
