Inside the numbers:
President Obama holds a 10-point advantage over Romney among women, but trails by five-points among men.

Voters not affiliated with either major political party are evenly divided.

President Obama draws support from 49% of Moderates and 85% of Liberals, while Romney is favored by 76% of Conservatives and 30% of Moderates.

Voters under the age of 40 tend to support the president, while older voters typically lean toward Romney.

Evangelical Christians, Protestants and Catholics support Romney while voters of other religions favor the incumbent.
