Survey of 500 likely Missouri voters was conducted April 17, 2012.  The margin of error is +/- 4.5 percentage points.  Results from the poll conducted March 14-15, 2012 are in square brackets.  Results from the poll conducted November 9, 2011 are in parentheses.
Inside the numbers:
The Republican holds a 49% to 42% edge among male voters in the state and is tied with president among female voters. Voters ages 18 to 39 tend to support Obama, while most older voters favor Romney.

Among voters not affiliated with either major political party, Romney edges Obama 45% to 42%.
