Survey of 500 likely voters was conducted May 14, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 4.5 percentage points.  Results from the poll conducted April 10, 2012 are in parentheses.

Inside the numbers:
Eighty-eight percent (88%) of North Carolina Republicans now support Romney, compared to 76% of Democrats in the state who back Obama. Nearly one-in-five North Carolina Democrats (18%) now favor the Republican.
