Poll Watch: Rasmussen (R) Nevada 2012 Senatorial Survey

  • Shelley Berkley (D) 42% [40%] (40%)
Survey of 500 Nevada voters was conducted July 24, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 4.5 percentage points.  Results from the poll conducted April 30, 2012 are in square brackets.  Results from the poll conducted March 19, 2012 are in parentheses.

Inside the numbers:
Heller leads by 16 points among male voters but barely edges Berkley among female voters. Those under 40 are evenly divided; older voters favor the Republican by double-digit margins.

Heller holds a 23-point lead among voters not affiliated with either major party.

Twenty-seven percent (27%) of all voters in the state now share a very favorable view of Heller, while 19% regard him very unfavorably. Berkley is seen very favorably by 20% and very unfavorably by 34%, up nine points from late April.
