Survey of 500 likely voters was conducted October 21, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 4.5 percentage points. Results from the poll conducted October 7, 2012 are in square brackets.  Results from the poll conducted August 21, 2012 are in parentheses.

Inside the numbers:
Eighty-four percent (84%) of likely voters in Connecticut say they have already decided how they will vote. The president leads 52% to 48% among these voters.
Voters in the state are evenly divided when asked which candidate they trust more to handle the economy, but Obama leads 52% to 44% in the area of national security.
