Ninety-two percent (92%) of Washington voters are certain they will vote in November. Among those voters, the president leads Romney 55% to 44%.
Eiohty-seven percent (87%) say they've already decided how they will vote. Obama leads in this group 57% to 43%.
Ninety-one percent (91%) of Republicans in the state support Romney, while 96% of Democrats back the incumbent. Among voters not affiliated with either political party, it’s Obama 49%, Romney 43%.
Voters in Washington trust the president more than Romney by eight points when it comes to handling the economy and by 13 points in the area of national security.
Forty-four percent (44%) of voters in the state believe the economy will get better if Obama is reelected and Democrats regain control of Congress. Thirty-nine percent (39%) think that’ll be the case if Romney wins the election and Republicans win control of Congress. Forty-one percent (41%) expect the economy to get worse if Obama and the Democrats triumph, while 44% think that's what will happen if Romney and the GOP come out ahead.
