Inside the numbers:
Isakson is favored by 92% of voters in his own party.  Eighty-nine percent (89%) of Democrats support Thurmond.  Among voters not affiliated with either political party, Isakson holds a 30-point lead over his Democratic challenger, with Donovan earning 16% support.
