2012. The margin of error is +/- 4 percentage points. Party ID: 42%
Democrat; 32% Republican; 26% Independent.
Inside the numbers:
Ninety-four percent (94%) approve of the Governor’s handling of Hurricane Sandy and recovery and restoration efforts.
Ninety-one percent (91%) approve of the way the Governor and President Obama worked together in the aftermath of the storm.
President Obama’s image stands at 57% favorable and 40% unfavorable.
It is important to note that this is unchanged from our previous survey and mirrors the election results.
The Legislative generic ballot is virtually tied, with 41% preferring GOP control of the Legislature, and 40% preferring Democratic control.

Inside the numbersThe president's current standing is largely built on his overwhelming backing in the Philadelphia television market, home to more than 40 percent of the state's voters. That offsets support for Romney in the more conservative Pittsburgh market and some other areas.
Statewide, Obama was ahead among all age groups, among both men and women, among those with college education and those without.
He was marginally ahead among white voters, 46-43, and overwhelmingly ahead among black voters, 93-3.

Inside the numbers
Fifty-seven percent (57%) of poll respondents said they believed Obama would win Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes; only 29 percent said they thought Romney would.
Obama led among all age groups, with his strongest edge among those 45 to 64. He led among those with a college education and those without.
Eighty-five percent of black respondents said they would vote for Obama. Among whites, the split was 46 percent for Obama and 47 percent for Romney, a statistical tie.
Obama's lead was largely built on his strength in Philadelphia, the state's largest city, in which he was ahead by almost 8-1.
In the crucial Philadelphia suburbs of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties, all of which voted for Obama in 2008, he led, but by just three points. That is well within the higher margin of error, plus or minus 8.6 percent, for polling in those four counties.
