Among those with a favorable opinion of the Mormon faith, 77% will vote for Romney in the general election if he is the GOP nominee.  However, among Iowan Republicans with an unfavorable opinion of the Mormon faith, just 40% say they will vote for Romney, while 43% say they would not vote for Romney in the general election if he were to win the Republican nomination.

• Gingrich leads Romney 35-4 with Iowa Tea Partiers
• Newt's favorability is 54/38 with Iowa Republicans who would have 'major concerns' about a candidate who cheated on spouse

• Only 48% of Iowa Republicans who say they voted for Mitt in the 2008 Caucus are supporting him again this time
• Perry with voters who haven't paid a lot of attention to debates in Iowa: 17%. With those who have paid a lot of attention: 3%
• Gingrich's strength in Iowa is with seniors (37%) and the Tea Party (35%). Romney at only 4% with TP
• Why hasn't Santorum ever gotten any momentum? Only 9% say social issues are most important thing to them
• Top issue for Iowa Republicans is gov't spending and the deficit. Romney is only 4th with those voters
• Paul is winning voters under 45 (23-21 over Newt) and non-Republicans (28-18 over Newt) in Iowa 
• Gingrich may be ok on immigration- only 29% support deporting those who have been here for 25 years 
• The good news for Mitt: 66% of his supporters are strongly committed, only 49% of Gingrich's are
