National survey of 519 registered voters was conducted March 25-27, 2013. The margin of error is +/- 4.3 percentage points. Party ID: 35% Democrat; 28% Republican; 35% Independent. 

Inside the numbers: 

Christie is far ahead of Biden among independents, with a 47 percent to 35 percent edge, and loses that bloc to Clinton by only a 43 percent to 40 percent margin.
