Survey of 400 likely voters was conducted December 6-7, 2013. The margin of error is +/- 4.9 percentage points. Results from the poll conducted August 6-7, 2013 are in parentheses.

Inside the numbers:
Among all Independents, Cotton leads Pryor 52% to 31%; among hard-core Independents who do not lead towards one party or another, Cotton is ahead 45% to 32%.
Both candidates receive an equal share of votes among their own party faithful (Cotton earns 84% of Republican votes; Pryor earns 83% of Democratic votes).
Counter to many GOP candidate fortunes, Cotton leads Pryor among women, 46% to 42%.
