Inside the numbers:
Brown has a 21-point lead among male voters in the state, while Warren leads by 20 among women. Most voters under 40 prefer the Democrat, while the majority of their elders favor Brown.
The incumbent continues to have stronger support from voters in his own party than Warren does. Eighty-three percent (83%) of Bay State Republicans back Brown, while Warren has the support of 74% of Democrats. Among voters not affiliated with either party, Brown leads by nearly two-to-one.
Fifty-seven percent (57%) of married voters like Brown; 57% of unmarried voters favor Warren.
