    Survey of 400 likely voters was conducted July 10-11, 2012.  The margin of error is +/- 5 percentage points.
    Inside the numbers:
    Romney earns the support of 90% of North Dakota Republicans, while Obama is favored by 81% of those in his party. Among voters not affiliated with either political party, however, the two candidates are essentially tied.

    Middle-aged voters and senior citizens favor Romney, but the two candidates are more closely divided among voters under 40.
