Survey of 771 likely Connecticut voters, including an oversample of 400 likely voters in each the Democratic and Republican primaries, was conducted July 26-29, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 3.5 percentage points among all likely voters; +/- 4.9 percentage points among Democratic and GOP primary voters. Party ID: 41% (45%) Democrat; 28% (31%) Republican; 30% (24%) Independent/Other.  Political ideology: 34% Moderate; 23% Somewhat conservative; 19% Somewhat liberal; 14% Very liberal; 10% Very conservative.  Results from the poll conducted September 22-25, 2011 are in parentheses.
