Survey of 800 likely voters was conducted July 19-23, 2012 for the Republican State Committee. The margin of error is +/- 3.46 percentage points.  Results from the poll conducted June, 2012 are in square brackets.  Results from the poll conducted February 2-6, 2012 are in parentheses.

Inside the numbers:
Forty-five percent of voters said Obama deserves to be re-elected, compared with 49 percent who said it’s time to give a new person a chance. Five percent said they’re undecided.
