- Somewhat disapprove 10% [9%] (8%)
- Strongly disapprove 28% [32%] (34%)
- Very favorable 17% [18%] (19%)
- Somewhat favorable 23% [32%] (30%)
- Somewhat unfavorable 25% [26%] (28%)
- Very unfavorable 30% [22%] (23%)
The president leads by nine points among male voters and holds a sizable two-to-one lead among female voters. Obama also leads in all age demographic categories.
While Obama claims 90% support among Massachusetts voters in his own party, just 69% of the state’s Republicans back Romney. Voters not affiliated with either of the major parties prefer the president by four points.
