Rasmussen (R) North Carolina 2012 Gubernatorial Poll
Inside the numbers:
- Pat McCrory (R) 50% (45%)
- Walter Dalton (D) 41% (36%)

- Undecided 8% (14%)

Inside the numbers:
The two men are virtually tied among voters not affiliated with either major political party. McCrory picks up 86% of the vote from voters in his own party, while Dalton draws support from 74% of Democrats.
McCrory is viewed very favorably by 31% of North Carolina voters, up from 24% in April. Eleven percent (11%) regard the GOP nominee very unfavorably. Twelve percent (12%) have no opinion of him.
For Dalton, reviews are 12% very favorable, 12% very unfavorable. But 21% of the state’s voters don’t know enough about him to form an opinion, although that’s down from 32% last month.
