I am a moderately conservative Republican and I think Newt is on the money on the health issues. I acknowledge it won't do much for his standing with the hard right but their time has come and, in my opinion, will pass very soon. Not that we do not need substantial tax/spending reform. We do need it but only a middle of the road approach will win any elections If anyone will win my vote it will not be with slash and burn tactics.
