As you may know, an agreement between the Republicans and Democrats in Congress and Barack Obama prevented the federal government from shutting down all non-essential services. Based on what you have read or heard, do you approve or disapprove of that budget agreement?
If a government shutdown had occurred, would you have personally viewed it as a crisis, as a major problem, as a minor problem, or as not a problem at all?

In your view, did the Republicans in Congress give up too much in the budget agreement, or don't you think so?
As you may know, the federal government currently provides funding to support some programs run by the organization called Planned Parenthood. Do you think federal funding for Planned Parenthood should be eliminated entirely, or do you think the federal government should continue to provide funding to Planned Parenthood?
Generally speaking, are you in favor of using public funds for abortions when the woman cannot afford it, or are you opposed to that?
Would you favor legislation that would prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from spending any money to enforce regulations on greenhouse gases and other environmental issues, or do you think the federal government should continue to provide funding to the Environmental Protection Agency to enforce those regulations?
Would you favor legislation that would prevent the federal government from spending any money to implement the provisions of the new health care law that was passed last year, or do you think the federal government should continue to provide funding to implement the provisions of the new health care law?
Survey of 824 adults was conducted April 9-10, 2011. The margin of error is +/- 3.5 percentage points.
