    Inside the numbers:
    Sunshine State Republicans seem pleased with their choice: 86% give Rubio favorable marks, including 70% who view him very favorably. Sixty-five percent (65%) of Democrats and a plurality (48%) of voters not affiliated with either party share an unfavorable opinion of the new senator.

    Male voters in Florida view Rubio more favorably than female voters do.

    Most voters under 40 give Rubio unfavorable marks. The majority of older voters, on the other hand, share positive views of Rubio.

    Sixty-one percent (61%) of white voters rate Rubio favorably, a view shared by just 15% of blacks and 16% of Hispanics in the state.
