Survey of 500 likely voters was conducted September 25, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 4.5 percentage points.  Results from the poll conducted June 26, 2012 are in square brackets. Results from the poll conducted March 13, 2012 are in parentheses.

Inside the numbers:
Flake draws support from 76% of Arizona Republicans. Carmona now receives support from 82% of Democrats, a 13-point jump since June, and 12% of GOP voters in the state. Voters not affiliated with either major political party prefer Flake by a 50% to 40% margin.

Flake holds a double-digit advantage among male voters, while Carmona has a modest 44% to 41% edge among women. The Republican leads among all age demographic groups.
