Survey of 500 likely voters was conducted March 13, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 4.5 percentage points. Results from the poll conducted February 9, 2012 are in square brackets. Results from the poll conducted November 17, 2011 are in parentheses. Inside the numbers:
Forty-eight percent (48%) of voters in the Sunshine State have at least a somewhat favorable opinion of Romney, while 45% feel that way about Santorum. That’s down three for Romney and down five for Santorum from last month.
Obama continues to lead both Romney and Santorum by double-digit margins among voters not affiliated with either major political party in the state.
Forty-nine percent (49%) of Florida voters now at least somewhat approve of the job Obama is doing, with 28% who strongly approve. Slightly more (51%) at least somewhat disapprove of his job performance, with a sizable 45% who strongly disapprove.
