Elway Research Washington 2012 Presidential Poll

• Barack Obama 49% (49%)
• Mitt Romney 41% (38%)

Survey of 408 registered voters was conducted June 13-16, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 5 percentage points.  Results from the poll conducted February 7-9, 2012 are in parentheses. 

Inside the numbers:

Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans said they would definitely or probably vote for Romney, while 91 percent of Democrats supported Obama.

Obama led in every age category and every income bracket. The candidates were essentially tied among men, but Obama led by 16 percentage points among women.
