Inside the numbers:
Brown picks up 86% support from Massachusetts Republicans and 20% of the vote from Democrats. Warren is favored by 78% of voters in her own party.
Most voters over 40 support the Republican, while younger voters heavily favor the Democrat.
Brown is seen as at least as ethical as most other politicians by 82% of Massachusetts voters. Sixty-eight percent (68%) say the same of Warren who has been criticized for her claims of Native American heritage and for allegedly doing legal work in the state without passing the Massachusetts Bar. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say Warren is less ethical than most politicians are, compared to just eight percent (8%) who feel that way about Brown.
Among Bay State voters not affiliated with either major political party, 92% think Brown is at least as ethical as most of his political peers, while just 52% think that of Warren.
