Inside the numbers:
Obama has the support of 83% of Pennsylvania Democrats, while 76% of the state’s Republicans back Romney. The president has a better than two-to-one lead – 57% to 26% - among voters not affiliated with either of the major parties.
The president leads among both male and female voters in the state. He’s also ahead among all age groups including seniors who in most states favor Romney.
In Pennsylvania, Obama has leads of seven to 14 points over Romney in terms of voter trust on five major issues – the economy, national security, health care, taxes and energy policy.
