Survey of 1,500 likely voters was conducted February 4-6, 2012.  The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points.  Daily tracking results are collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters per night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. Inside the numbers:

Romney leads among Republicans by only a 76% to 16% margin. President Obama leads 84% to 10% among Democrats. If Romney had the same level of support among his own party, the race would be a toss-up.
