Inside the numbers:

Obama holds double-digit leads over both GOP hopefuls among women voters in Virginia, while the Republicans edge the president by just under 10 points among men. Among voters not affiliated with either major political party, Obama leads Romney 45% to 40% and Santorum 51% to 40%.

Obama is viewed favorably by 50% of Virginia voters, Romney by 45% and Santorum by 44%.
