Survey of approximately 1,300 likely voters was conducted September 3-9, 2012. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points. The swing state poll covers 11 key states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. Inside the numbers:The president’s job approval in the swing states is currently 49%. That’s back up to where it was a week ago. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove. Those figures include 27% who strongly approve and 42% who strongly disapprove.
