Inside the numbers:
Eighty-six percent (86%) of New Hampshire voters are already certain how they will vote. The candidates are tied at 50% each among these voters.
New Hampshire voters are also closely divided when it comes to which candidate they trust more to handle the economy: 48% trust Romney more, while 46% have more faith in the president. When it comes to national security issues, they are evenly divided: 47% trust Obama more, while another 47% trust his Republican challenger.
Obama is ahead by eight points among voters not affiliated with either of the major parties.
New Hampshire voters have slightly more confidence in Romney when it comes to the nation's economic future. Forty-five percent (45%) believe the economy will get better if Romney is elected and Republicans take control of the Congress, compared to 39% who think that's true if Obama is reelected and Democrats take charge of Congress. Forty-four percent (44%) believe the economy will get worse if Obama is reelected, while 39% expect a worse economy if Romney wins.
