Inside the numbers:
Ninety-six percent (96%) of the state’s likely voters say they are certain to vote this year. Romney leads 54% to 44% in this group of voters.
Among the 89% who say they’ve already decided whom they’re going to vote for, it’s Romney 54%, Obama 46%.
Missouri voters trust Romney more than Obama to handle the economy by a 54% to 43% margin. In the area of national security, Romney has a five-point advantage in voter trust, 49% to 44%.
The Republican hopeful leads by 28 points among male voters but trails by three among female voters. He has a better than two-to-one lead among voters not affiliated with either of the major political parties.
